Operator Training

Accident rates within the woodworking sector are among the highest in manufacturing.

Although you have a legal responsibility for the safety of your workforce, it also makes good business sense to promote safer working practices resulting in less down time and more efficient practice.

At Safety Training Woodworking we offer training that will meet your requirements including:

  • Familiarisation
  • Certified Operator Competence
We cover all operator needs and machine types for woodworking machinery, as well as courses for Abrasive Wheels and Portable Power Tools.

Regulation:
Regulation 9 of PUWER requires every employer to ensure that all employees who use work equipment have received suitable and sufficient training. Refresher trainiing is to be taken every 3 to 5 years to maintain personnel competency in line with current HSE guidance.
